Message	underneath and gives the molding something to hold to. When I had my car repainted last year the shop forgot to install it and my molding had a gap like you described. Once the fastener was installed the new molding fit in nice and tight. I'm on my laptop now, but if you need the part number shoot me an email and when I get home and I can check my records for it if you need it.
